ES (External Mount) Hydrostatic Contents Gauge System
The AJD ES (External Mount) Hydrostatic Contents Gauge System is a self-powered hydrostatic tank level gauge designed to provide continuous remote indication of liquid contents without electrical or pneumatic power. The externally mounted sensor is fitted at the base of the tank above the sludge level, providing accurate and reliable level measurement for marine and industrial applications. Suitable for diesel, fuel oil, biodiesel, lubricating oil, water, chemicals, AdBlue ® and urea.

Tested to meet or exceed IACS Unified Requirement E10 and relevant IEC 60945 requirements for equipment in a protected environment.
Individual environmental test standards:
IEC 60068-2-2 (dry heat);
IEC 60068-2-1 (low temperature);
IEC 60068-2-30 (damp heat/humidity;
IEC 60068-2-6 (vibration);
IEC 60092-504 (static and dynamic inclination);
IEC 60068-2-52 (salt mist).
Ingress protection:
ES sensor enclosure tested to IP68 in accordance with EN 60529:1992. 160 mm indicator tested to IP56 in accordance with EN 60529:1992.
Fire resistance:
ES coupling and metal-sheathed capillary tested generally in accordance with ISO 19921:2005, including exposure to an 800°C flame for at least 30 minutes.

Additional Information
The ES sensor mounts externally via a ¾” BSP connection above the sludge level.
The capillary system is factory filled with dry nitrogen gas to eliminate moisture ingress and maintain long-term accuracy.
Every gauge is individually calibrated using customer tank data and can be supplied with scales in litres, m³, gallons, percentage full, depth or weight.
